- Test paperwork that lapsed. Certification is annual. Most of the urgency we get called with is a date that slipped, not a device that failed.

Someone inspects the premises and lists any connection where a substance could flow back into the public supply, then names what protection is required. Nothing is shut off. You get a period to have the work done and the device tested, and that is the part we handle.
How often does a backflow assembly need testing?
Annually, by a certified tester, with the result filed. Assemblies also need to be physically accessible to be tested at all — if racking, storage or a later partition has grown up around yours, budget for moving it as part of the job.

Because a trench or floor drain run silts up along its length rather than at the end, and the low point fills first. Rodding the nearest access rarely reaches it. A camera survey tells you where the deposit actually sits, and jetting clears the run properly.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes, and for some jobs it is the sensible choice. Anything that takes water off an operating building is usually better done in the evening or at a weekend. We price it honestly and we do not push out-of-hours work onto jobs that do not need it.
